Process and tooling

Tools that reflecthow you actuallywork.

We roll out and adapt Jira, Confluence and GitLab starting from your real process. Not the other way round, which is how these rollouts usually fail.

Sound familiar?

The problem is almost never the tool: it is that the tool was rolled out without looking at how the team works.

  • You have Jira, but the real coordination happens over WhatsApp and email.

  • Every team keeps its own spreadsheet and none of them agree.

  • Nobody can say what state a project is in without asking three people.

  • Documentation exists, but it is out of date and nobody trusts it.

  • The same mistakes repeat because there is no record of why something was decided.

How we work

  1. 01

    Process first, tool second

We map how you actually work today, including the shortcuts everyone uses and nobody admits to. Configuring Jira around a process that does not exist is the fastest way to make sure nobody uses it.

  2. 02

    The minimum configuration that holds

It is tempting to configure twenty mandatory fields and eight states. The more complex it is, the sooner the team abandons it. We start with the minimum that gives traceability and grow from there.

  3. 03

    Migration without losing history

If you are coming from another tool or from spreadsheets, we migrate the history worth keeping and archive the rest so it stays searchable.

  4. 04

    Training and adoption

A rollout without training is money wasted. We train by role —not one generic session for everyone— and stay close during the first weeks, which is when it either sticks or does not.

What you get

  • Your process documented as it genuinely works
  • Jira and Confluence configured and in use, not merely installed
  • History migrated and accessible
  • Role-based training and an internal usage guide
  • Automations that remove repetitive manual work

We work across the Atlassian ecosystem and GitLab, and on whatever you already have where keeping it makes sense.

Common questions

How long does a Jira rollout take?

For a team of up to 30 people, between two and four weeks from process mapping to the team working inside it. Migrations with a lot of history take longer depending on volume.

What if we already have Jira but it is badly set up?

A very common request. We audit the current configuration, identify what is superfluous —usually a fair amount— and reorganise it without losing history or stopping the team.

Do you resell the licences?

No. You buy licences directly from Atlassian, in your own name. We charge for the rollout and the consulting, with no commission on licences.

Does this work for non-engineering teams?

Yes. Marketing, operations, admin and customer support benefit just as much from traceability. The configuration is usually simpler than in engineering.

Shall we talk about your project?

Tell us your idea and we will get back to you within 24 hours.
